Ensure work safety for clients

In this module, you will learn to follow workplace policies and procedures for safe work practices, including identifying and reporting hazards, risk factors, incidents, and injuries. You'll understand the importance of minimizing risks and adhering to manual handling procedures to prevent injuries. The module covers infection control by following standard precautions and recognizing when additional measures are needed to prevent the spread of infection.

You will contribute to workplace safety by raising WHS issues, participating in safety meetings, and helping develop safe workplace policies. Reflecting on your own safe work practices is crucial, including maintaining current knowledge, managing stress and fatigue, and participating in debriefings. The focus is on creating a safe environment for both clients and workers through diligent practice and continuous improvement.
